Commands

Command Description
rolly.save.check Checks the open map as Tools > Rolly Save > Check Open Map does, or with -project the whole project as Check Project does, and writes a page to Message Log > Rolly Save Checks.
rolly.save.debug.stress Saves a slot again and again with data that does not compress, each save asked for when the one before has reported, and logs the copy and sequence number of every save written: end the game during the saves, then check the slot with rolly.save.verify. Usage: rolly.save.debug.stress <slot> <MiB, 1 to 512> <count, 1 to 100000>. Uses Project Settings > Plugins > Rolly Save. Not in Shipping builds.
rolly.save.dump Prints a save’s header and chunk table. -records adds each record’s values; -chunk <ID> [<key>] limits the output to one chunk.
rolly.save.json.export Writes the slot’s save, or with -profile the profile’s, as <file name>.json in the export folder; -compact leaves out line breaks and indentation.
rolly.save.json.import Checks <file name>.json in the export folder and stores it as a new slot.
rolly.save.lifecycle Makes Rolly Save act as if the game went to the background, came back, quit (without quitting), the session ended, or a platform user signed out or in, so lifecycle saves and sign-out rules can be tried in the editor and on desktop. Only Rolly Save hears it. Usage: rolly.save.lifecycle background | foreground | quit | sessionend | signout <user index> | signin <user index>. Not in Shipping builds.
rolly.save.list Lists the saves of this game’s File Prefix from the slot index: key, display name, save time (UTC), game data version, writer version, size, the newest copy, and the kind, map and play time its metadata records. -profiles lists profiles instead.
rolly.save.verify Checks both copies of a save file and reports which one a load takes and why: each copy’s state (valid, damaged and why, made by a newer version, changed outside the game, protected with a key this build lacks, missing), sequence number and size. Usage: rolly.save.verify <slot name> | -profile <profile name> | -index. Uses the File Prefix, Storage Backend and Protection of Project Settings > Plugins > Rolly Save, and waits up to 30 seconds.
